Presenting the RESTORE technology pathway
At the M3d+it symposium in December 2021, Brinter Product Manager Sanna Turunen presented the company’s activities in the Horizon 2020 RESTORE project under the title RESTORE: Cartilage Bioprinting Technology Development.
Brinter's role in cartilage bioprinting
The presentation described Brinter’s role as developing the bioprinting platform toward cartilage printing by implementing new printing modalities. The work also included optimisation of bioink composition and printing protocols together with the broader consortium development.
A project that shaped the platform-development model
RESTORE connected biomaterials, cells, lesion-specific requirements and printing technology in one development environment. It remains an important historical reference for how the Brinter technology foundation evolved around a real regenerative-medicine application.
