From bio-based residues toward new material value chains
CirBReS — Circular Bio-based Residues to Sustainable Bioproducts — connects Åbo Akademi University, Aalto University and the University of Turku with a broad industrial partner network. The Finnish programme is part of the wider Global Center for Sustainable Bioproducts collaboration focused on developing sustainable alternatives to petroleum-derived plastics and composite materials.
BrinterAM in the steering group
Brinter AM Technologies contributes to the project through the steering group, bringing an additive-manufacturing and industrialisation perspective into the research programme. The role provides a direct connection between emerging bio-based materials and the processing, application and manufacturing questions that determine whether new feedstocks can progress toward practical use.
