“We’re thrilled to participate in the PSIS workshop ‘3D Bioprinting: Towards Standards in Biomedicine’ in Brussels on 21-22 October 2025. As part of the standardisation community convened by CEN/CENELEC + JRC, the workshop will help define the missing building blocks in bioprinter equipment, bioink/process traceability, and data interoperability. At Brinter AM we look forward to contributing our insights and connecting with peers on harmonising standards that will accelerate biomanufacturing from research to real-world use.”
We are pleased to share that the Brinter AM Technologies Oy team will take an active role in the upcoming session on “3D Printer Equipment and Process Standardization.”
Dhayakumar Rajan Praksh, Head of Innovation at Brinter AM, will serve as the moderator, leading discussions on how digital interoperability, equipment design, and process standardization can strengthen reproducibility, traceability, and industrial readiness across additive manufacturing.
Our CEO, Tomi Kalpio, will participate as a panelist, contributing insights from Brinter AM’s work in developing modular bioprinting and pharmaceutical printing systems that bridge research and industry through open and standardized solutions.
At Brinter AM, we continuously strive to enhance cross-platform compatibility, data traceability, and process reliability—principles that also drive our 3MF-Bio initiative, an open digital standard for bioprinting interoperability and regulatory compliance.
Together, we look forward to contributing to this important discussion and advancing the shared goal of trusted, standardized, and interoperable digital manufacturing.
